These terms apply when you use the SpaCCor website or client portal, or engage us for interior design and fit-out work. By using our website or signing an estimate or agreement, you accept these terms. If a signed agreement or estimate says something different, the signed document applies.
1. Our services
We provide interior design, modular furniture, woodwork, civil and finishing work, and related services for homes, offices and clinics. The exact scope, rooms, materials, brands and finishes are those listed in your accepted estimate.
2. Consultations, estimates and quotes
- The site visit and first consultation are free unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
- An estimate is valid for the period printed on it. After that, rates may change.
- An estimate becomes a contract only when you accept it (online or by signing) and pay the first instalment.
- Estimates are based on the measurements, drawings and information available at the time. If the site differs from what was shared, we may revise the estimate in writing.
3. Designs and ownership
Designs, drawings, 3D views and layouts we create remain our intellectual property until the related invoices are paid in full. After that you may use them for your own property. You may not give them to another designer or contractor to copy our work without our written permission. We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, and we will not show your name or address without your consent.
4. Changes to the scope
Any addition, removal or change after approval is a variation. We will quote the cost and any time impact in writing before doing the work. Work on a variation starts only after you approve it. Once production has started, changes may not be possible or may attract extra cost.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us access to the site on agreed dates and keep it clear of belongings that block work.
- Make sure power, water, lift or parking access and any society or building permissions are in place.
- Approve drawings, finishes and samples within a reasonable time. Delays in approval can move the handover date.
- Pay each invoice on time as set out in the Payment, Refund and Warranty page.
6. Timelines
We give an estimated schedule at the start. Dates may shift because of delayed approvals, late payments, site conditions, society restrictions, weather, strikes, supply disruptions or other events outside our control. We will tell you promptly if the schedule changes.
7. Materials and finishes
Wood grain, stone patterns and some laminates vary naturally between pieces. Colours seen on screens, printouts and small samples can look different in the room. We will confirm key finishes with you before production. A reasonable variation of this kind is not a defect.
8. Handover and snag check
When work is complete we will do a walk-through with you and list any snags (small corrections). We will fix genuine snags within a reasonable time. Handover is treated as complete once you sign the handover note or use the space, whichever is earlier, and the warranty period starts from that date.
9. Payment, refunds and warranty
Payments, cancellations, refunds and warranty are covered in the Payment, Refund and Warranty page, which forms part of these terms.
10. Limits on our liability
We are responsible for work we carry out and for our own staff and vendors. We are not liable for loss caused by things outside our control, for existing defects in the building, or for indirect losses such as loss of rent or income. Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you have paid us for that project, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
11. Using this website and the client portal
Please use the website lawfully and do not try to break, scrape or gain unauthorised access to it. Keep your portal login private. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access that we believe is being misused.
12. Disputes and governing law
We will try to resolve any complaint by talking first. If that does not work, these terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts at the city in our registered address have jurisdiction, unless your agreement says otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date you accept an estimate applies to that project.
