Measure the narrowest point along the full route, including lift interiors and landing turns. Ask whether a large piece can be assembled in the room. Add the relevant measurements and product requirements to the room brief, then compare the proposed layout at full scale before ordering.

Room dimensions do not guarantee that the furniture can reach the room. Confirm access before ordering. Confirm the final choice against the actual site, the manufacturer's guidance and the people who will use the room.

- Compare material samples and written specifications, not just names or images.
- Record the agreed scope, budget, installation details and maintenance needs.
